Why
Aleix was preparing Bikingman Taiwan and decided to make a visit to Switzerland 🇨🇭 to make some big passes as a preparation. I draw something new for both and this was the result

All started yesterday in Zürich at 22:30pm. I picked up Aleix in the airport and head up to Zernez to finally arrive at around 1am... 4h of sleeping and... ready to start in Zernez with 4°C ❄ and following the road to the Austrian border where the termometer hit 0.2°C☃️.
It was pretty chill and we could not find any bar with a warm coffee until Nauders where we were already a bit warmer after the first 600m of climb. Sun was out and warming for the las 2 min... finally we could start feeling our fingers.
We kept along Austria until Resia pass, already in Italy, at around 1600m and then had a descent to hit Prato with already 90 kms in our legs.
We made a wise move and stop to eat 🍕. Of course... we are Italy and it's delicious! 😋 We need to enjoy the next 25 kms, going from 900m to the top of Passo dello Stelvio at 2760m... almost 1900m of pure climbing with 48 iconic sharp corners... so pizza was needed.
